• ALCESTER RUGBY CLUB FOOD FESTIVAL - 17th to 19th May

    Within walking distance of Alcester for the Food Festival (free entry). Sample the food & drink from many local producers. There will be cheeses, pies, breads, cakes, fresh and cured meats and sausages, fruit and vegetables, a pig roast, award-winning street food, handmade chocolates, local beers, ciders and wines and as many local food products as we can squeeze on to the stalls so come and browse and buy.

  • HAMPTON HOUSE FARM - 28th – 30th JUNE

    Another new site for us Charlecote Park is a short drive away for those wanting a little culture, fabulous house and gardens to explore. Warwick, Stratford and Leamington all within an easy drive too as is the market at Wellesbourne for a Saturday morning shopping fix. This site is set in acres of rolling countryside, there some chickens wandering around and it’s just so peaceful, great site and well worth a visit.

    Fabulous site set in the countryside, Pershore is a short drive away with lots to do, plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and a quick pint or just relax in the country-side. All your needs can be catered for in Pershore, a ten minute’s drive away. Evesham, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Worcester are all within easy travelling distance.

  • DRUM & MONKEY - BLUES FESTIVAL - 19th-21st JULY

    Come and have a fantastic weekend with us behind a very old 17th Century Pub serving traditional and reasonably priced food. A good range of real ales available too. A 20-minute walk or a short drive to the picturesque village of Upton-On-Severn to enjoy the Blues festival which is on all weekend. Every gig is free to attend see the website for full details. (www.uptonbluesfestival.org.uk) all amenities are close by which include local supermarkets, tea rooms and a great fish and chip shop. Loads of entertainment going on in the town with stalls selling goods and food. A great atmosphere all day and evening so come along and have a memorable weekend.

Our AGM went ahead on October 7th 2018 and during this meeting the treasurer was re-elected and the current committee stepped up again.. There was a vote on fees for 2019 Our new fees are; New Full membership £18.00. Renewal Membership £16.00 (Membership will automatically be cancelled if not renewed by the 31st January & members will have to renew their Full membership at a cost £18.00). Non unit membership £2
Longbridge History
The Longbridge Camping & Caravan Club was started in 1969 with eleven dedicated campers and first met on the 14th November to form an official “Works Camping Club”. At the first meeting, a committee was elected, the Chairman being Frank Richards, Treasurer Les Crockett, Secretary Mo Richards and the Chief Camp Official Rex Hamilton – all of whom were employed by Austin Motor Company, Longbridge, which at the time was part of the larger British Motor Corporation (BMC). In the early days, it was hoped to call the club “The Austin Camping & Caravan Club”, but this was not possible and so we became “Longbridge Camping & Caravan Club”
